History

Shakti Mandir is located in the centre of the Purana Bazar Main Rd, Dhanbad city, Jharkhand. his temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. This temple receives its name from Goddess Durga’s form of Shakti, which means the Goddess of Power. There is a akhand jyoti in the mandir which is brought from the Vaishno Devi. The devotees regualrly perform, bhajanas, jagrans and kirtans . This Shakti Temple has become popular in Navaratri’s Mahashmi Puja . Erly morning there are people waiting to see long queues. In Navratri, devotees reaching 1.5 to 2 lakh devotees daily.
