Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Temple is located in T Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is a temple dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara. The Tirumala temple in Chennai is modelled after the more famous and original Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh. A complete replica of the original, this temple is visited by thousands who are unable to travel up to Tirupati or stand in the serpentine queues there. People who like to commute to Thirupathi from Chennai can receive all information from here. The temple opens for the daily rituals early in the morning at 3.00 am with the ‘Suprabhatam’, which means awakening the Lord and ends at night with the ‘Ekanta Seva’ (putting the Lord to sleep) at 8.00 pm. The temple remains closed for 2 hours in the afternoon.
