History
Sri Nettikanti Anjaneya Swamy Temple is a famous Lord Hanuman temple in Kasapuram Village, Guntakal Mandal, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. He is the powerful god and varaprada to the devotees. The Anjaneya idol at this temple was installed by Sree Vyasaraya. The temple got its name as Nettikanti because the lord sees his devotees with his the right eye.
Sri Vyasarajaru is a passionate devotee of Anjaneya Swamy in the 15th century. He installed this 500 year old Lord Hanuman idol in Kasapuram village during his very nearer to the Guntakal town. Sree vyasaraya installed at different places 732 idols of Lord Anjaneya. Sree Vyasaraya attained nirvana in 1539 AD . On the fourth day of Sukla Paksha (bright half) in the month of Phalguna.
