History

Joginatha Temple is a highly revered shrine, located at Jogipet, about 38 km from Medak, in Andhra Pradesh. The presiding deity here is Joginatha. Most noteworthy feature of the temple is that, both Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati stand side by side in the form of lingams (Shivling) without Panivattam (pedestal).

The Joginatha festival is celebrated here for 11 days during March-April attracts thousands of people from all parts of the state.
