History

Iskcon Puspasamadhi Mandir is a Hindu Temple in Mayapur, West Bengal, India. It has a big campus in Mayapur which includes the chandrodaya Temple, the Temple of The Vedic Planetarium , Srila Prabhupada’s Pushpa Samadhi Mandir, Srila Prabhupada’s Bhajan Kutir, Goshala, Mayapur Institute for Higher Education, Bhakti vedanta Academy and Sri Mayapur International School.

ISKCON Mayapur is one of the 20 sacred places, most visited in the world almost 5 million visitors in the year. Mayapur Temple has the same quantity of visitants just like in the St. Peter’s Basilica Vatican, Rome, which is 7 million people. And it is the same quantity of people who have visited Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall or Western Wall. Of course that, after the New Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir will be ready we’ll have much more opportunity to spread the glories of the Kali Yuga Pavana Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, worldwide. We can see how Srila Prabhupada brilliantly encouraged and inspired his disciples to do this amazing service. He gave every detail about the new temple and it is impossible for us to measure how valuable it will be for the Sankirtan Movement. Vaishnava celebrations are praised here consistently. Worth extraordinary specify are the Gaura Purnima celebrations like Navadvipa Mandal Parikrama and Kirtan Mela which pull in a large number of fans each year.
